Junk Comix
Junk Comic specializes in politically relevant comics and illustrations about topics such as African history, refugee stories and squatting. Junk Comix has been writing, drawing and self-publishing underground comix for the last decade.
The Dunkirk Experience
In 2021 Junk Comix and Alejandra Pajares Barbero wrote Dunkirk Jungle based on their experiences in the Dunkirk refugee camp with other members of the No Borders TV team. The comic is based on interviews conducted with people staying at the camp.
Alejandra is construction worker and anthropologist who specialises in collecting scrap metal and interviews for anthropological studies and oral history projects.
